Saturday, September 25th marks the date for this year's 2nd annual Festival of Grapes & Hops to be held from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. around Old Towne Petersburg's historic Farmer's Market.

This year's event is sure to be a crowd pleaser with a total of 11 Virginia wineries and seven microbreweries in attendance. The wineries include Belle Mount Vineyards, Blue Ridge Vineyards, Bright Meadows Farm Vineyard & Winery, Cooper Vineyards, Horton Vineyards, Inc., Kluge Estate Winery & Vineyard, Mattaponi Winery, Spring Creek Wine Cellar, Stone Mountain Vineyards, First Colony Winery, and Vino Curioso. The
microbreweries include Blue Mountain Brewery, Legend Brewing Company, Old Richmond Brewing, St. George Brewing Co., Starrhill Brewery, Tuppers Brewery, and Williamsburg AleWerks.

Be sure to bring your family and friends for this fun-filled event. While tasting the amazing selection of wines and beers, browse the Farmer's Market area and check out the local food, music, artists, and crafters showcasing their talents. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door for those who wish to taste the wines and beers available. Non-tasting tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door and are available for purchase at the Petersburg Chamber of Commerce. Tickets can be purchased online or from various ticket locations.
